Who is this course for?

This course is intended for learners who already know basic Norwegian phrases and grammar and want to quickly develop their ability to communicate freely. During the intensive classes, you will learn new vocabulary and more complex grammatical structures, gain the skills to handle different everyday situations, and engage in longer, more elaborate dialogues. The lessons will include practical exercises aimed at increasing your confidence in speaking, listening comprehension, and writing. The learning pace and materials are designed to help you quickly and effectively improve your language skills, enabling you to use Norwegian with ease in daily life.

This course is designed for learners who already know basic Norwegian phrases and grammar and want to rapidly improve their ability to communicate freely. In these intensive lessons, you will acquire new vocabulary, master more advanced grammatical structures, and learn to navigate various everyday situations as well as conduct longer, more complex dialogues. The program includes hands-on exercises focused on boosting your speaking, listening, and writing confidence. The pace and learning materials are specifically tailored to help you advance your skills quickly and use Norwegian effectively in your daily interactions.

Stages of learning

This course is designed for people who already know basic Norwegian phrases and grammar and want to rapidly expand their communication skills. We will focus on the practical use of new expressions, more complex grammatical structures, and conversational exercises that will enable you to quickly speak and understand Norwegian in everyday and typical situations. The learning pace is dynamic, and the materials are selected to help you quickly gain confidence and fluency in using Norwegian.

  • Developing the ability to hold longer conversations on everyday topics – shopping, travel, relationships, work
  • Mastering more complex phrases and expressions needed in new life situations (e.g., visiting a doctor, handling official matters)
  • Taking grammar one step further: past tense, future tense, simple subordinate clauses, and compound questions
  • Practicing listening comprehension – telephone conversations, recordings, announcements, short public notices
  • Writing short functional texts: emails, messages, advertisements, simple descriptions of situations
  • Expanding vocabulary in the areas of hobbies, education, health, travel, and daily communication
