Who is this course for?

The Norwegian course at level A1.2 is dedicated to learners who already have basic language skills and are familiar with the simplest phrases and basic grammar. The classes focus on developing communication skills, expanding vocabulary, and learning more complex grammatical structures, which enables more confident interaction in everyday situations. The materials and learning pace are tailored so that participants can steadily and confidently build their language competence.

What will you learn?

This course is intended for people who already know the basics of the Norwegian alphabet and the fundamental rules of pronunciation and wish to further develop their skills. During the classes, you will deepen your understanding of phonetics, learn more precise pronunciation, and acquire the basic rules of intonation. The course will help you better understand spoken and written Norwegian and use the language more confidently in everyday situations. The materials and learning pace are designed to help participants increase their confidence and communication effectiveness.

Stages of learning

This Norwegian A1.2 course is for you if you already know the basics and want to develop your communication skills.
You will learn new phrases, expand your vocabulary, and practice practical dialogues that will help you speak and write more confidently in Norwegian in everyday situations.

  • Deepening pronunciation and intonation in Norwegian
  • Expanding everyday phrases, polite expressions, and common communication patterns
  • Learning more advanced vocabulary (e.g., about family, work, and free time)
  • Practical use of grammar – present and past tense, basic pronouns
  • Holding more complete dialogues and simple situational conversations
  • Developing the ability to understand longer and more complex listening and reading texts
  • Writing short functional texts: messages, emails, personal and situational descriptions
