Who is this course for?

This course is designed for people who are just beginning to learn Norwegian and want to quickly master basic phrases, pronunciation, and simple grammar. During the intensive classes, you will learn the most important words and expressions needed for everyday communication, as well as how to introduce yourself and ask for basic information. The course will help you quickly gain confidence in speaking and understanding simple statements through practical exercises and short dialogues. The pace of learning and the materials are tailored to help you effectively build your language foundations and start using Norwegian in daily life as soon as possible.

  • Developing fluency in conducting longer, structured conversations on social, professional, and cultural topics
  • Mastering the Norwegian alphabet and the pronunciation of the most common words
  • Learning numbers, days of the week, months, and telling time through simple dialogues
  • Practicing forming short questions and answers: asking for directions, shopping, ordering in a restaurant
  • Introducing basic grammar: building the simplest affirmative, negative, and interrogative sentences
  • Improving listening skills and understanding simple instructions and short statements
  • Writing short messages, filling out basic forms, and performing simple communication exercises
